We are using a Microsoft Team alongside the LCC Teaching Hub to facilitate online discussion around teaching and learning at LCC.
What’s it for?
Microsoft Teams is an online platform for communication and collaboration. It can be used for chat messages, discussions, link and file-sharing.
Our use of Teams is an experiment. The Learning and Teaching Microsoft Team (UAL Login required) is a discussion area for all staff at LCC to engage in discussions related to teaching.
A Team is made up of Channels; different spaces within the Team for different purposes. Our Team includes a Reading channel for sharing papers, reports, articles that may be of interest.
Desktop & Mobile
You can access Teams in 3-ways. On your laptop/desktop there is the Teams App which gives you access to everything (recommended). You can also access Teams through a web browser but not all features are available. There are also mobile Apps in the Google Play and Apple App stores.
