Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is a powerfully communication tool which since the pandemic has been used more and more for teaching. At UAL it is recommend for using with tutor groups and small groups of about 20 students.

With Teams being a Microsoft product then students and staff have easy sign up with their UAL log in and e-mails. Teams mobile apps will help improve communication and engagement with students.

As well as video calling for Synchronous work with learners, Teams can be very effective at developing back channels and formative feedback with students. Developing Asynchronous activities, running polls, checking students’ wellbeing, collaborative tasks and praising learners are all benefits of using teams.
