LCC Student Guide to Assessment 21/22

For the past 5 years LCC has produced a Student Guide to Assessment. The 21/22 guide is now ready for you to share with your students and course teams.

Each year we update it to ensure it reflects changes to policy and includes information pertinent to the assessment process.

For 21/22 we have:

• Updated the Extenuating Circumstances section.  
• Updated the Submitting your assignment section. 
• Included a section on Self-plagiarism – this was included following several academic misconduct cases. 
• Included a section on Covid – Related Authorised Absence (CRAA) – to ensure students understand the difference between ECs and CRAA.
