Industry Mentor Careers Events.

The industry mentor team at LCC have created a series of events that undergraduate students can join. These events provide an opportunity for students to find out more about careers paths in the creative industries.Taking part will be some of LCC’s current industry mentors.

Events include:

Guest lectures (asynchronous event): A series of short films exploring aspects of the mentors’ careers including case studies, key projects and career advice.

Speed group mentoring sessions (live event):Open to final year BA students, these events are hosted by mentors and provide an opportunity for students to gain constructive advice on their future plans.

Collaborative workshops (asynchronous event): Mentors will answer questions around self-promotion and professional practice in their areas of work.

Sessions will be led by many of LCC’s current industry mentors including:

Susan Smith – Director of Weber Shandwick (PR, Advertising and Communications)

Laura Colapietro – Associate Director at ING Media (PR, Communications and Journalism)

Annie Masciave – Art buyer and photography producer at Made Thought Ltd ( Advertising, Fashion, Fine Art, Photography and Publishing)

Rafa Prada – Director at Made Abroad and product design consultant (Art direction, Branding, Product Design, Spatial Design, UX / UI

Andrea Wilson – Managing Director of Whitestone Consulting (Branding, Identity, Communications, Graphic design.)
