Applications open for the Pg Cert / MA in Academic Practice
UAL staff can now apply for a place on the Academic Practice courses PgCert / MA and Standalone units that commence in January 2021. The application deadline is 5pm on Friday 25 September 2020, although we are advising people to apply as soon as possible, as earlier applicants are more likely to be placed on their first choice of units.
There are two stages to the application process this year:
Stage 1: Applicants need to complete an Authorisation Form.This is available on the ‘Apply’ pages of the Teaching, Learning and Employability Exchange website.

The form no longer requires signatures from Line Managers or staff development contacts, although applicants still need College/department approval before they can apply. Once applicants have received approval from their Line Managers they will need to contact Adrienne Tulley for the final approval.
Stage 2: Once applicants have completed the authorisation form, they can submit an online course application via SITS. A link to the online application forms is on the ‘Apply’ pages of the exchanges website.

Applicants will need to upload the completed authorisation form to their online course application.

Funding
UAL does not charge fees for any UAL staff, including Associate Lecturers.

Please note that this only applies to the PgCert. Remission for participants on the MA and Standalone courses is granted at the discretion of Line Managers/departments.
