The application process

There are two stages to the application process again this year:

1.     Applicants need to complete a Staff Authorisation Form (available on the website.)  The form does not require a signature from Line Managers or staff development contacts, although applicants still need College/department approval before they can apply. Once applicants have received approval from their Line Managers, they will need to contact college contacts for the final ok.  At LCC you will need to contact Adrienne Tulley; here is a list of all College/department contacts: https://www.arts.ac.uk/about-ual/teaching-and-learning-exchange/professional-development/contact

2.     Once applicants have completed the authorisation form, they can submit an online course application via SITS. A link to the online application form is also available on the PgCert and MA website. Applicants will need to upload their completed authorisation form to their online course application, along with a copy of their passport and (if it is a non-UK passport), they will also need to upload a copy of their residence permit.

Funding

We do not charge fees for any UAL staff, including Associate Lecturers.

Study Time

Applicants and Line Managers should be aware that PgCert and MA students will need to dedicate approximately 12 hours a week to the course.
