What’s Next – Communicating Climate Change
What Next is an online magazine (available as a downloadable PDF) all about communicating climate change to students at LCC.
It is written for tutors and managers at LCC by Associate Lecturer Nicola Baird from the Media School who has spent most of her working life writing on environmental matters. She’s been assisted by Y1 student Caoime Bergin and Y3 student Emily Moore-Watts.
What Next is a brilliant resource to find info about sustainability. It will also be useful if you are planning to include themes and info about the climate crisis in your teaching units. By using the lessons of solutions journalism What Next will help you to empower your students to take action and maintain positive wellbeing, even when faced with the full facts of the climate emergency.
