December Staff Development Programme
9th – 17th December
The December Staff Development Programme is now available and you can book onto the sessions by following the links in the attached pdf.
In this programme there is a focus on:
- Assessment – with sessions on Assessment Feedback and Assessment for Social Justice.
- Mental Health Awareness – these session are especially useful for ALs and new staff as the sessions cover issues around signposting students to the correct services, boundaries and dealing with emergency situations.
- Wellbeing – these sessions explore how we can take care of ourselves, how we can cope with the pressures of life and our financial wellbeing.
- AL support – to support new ALs we are running AL Inductions, Mental Health Awareness training and a session on Cultural Awareness.
ALs will be paid to attend the AL Induction by the T&L Team and the Mental Health Awareness session will be paid for by your school , please check with your line managers on payment for other sessions.
