Peer Mentoring for undergraduates and postgraduates at LCC
At LCC the Academic Support team coordinate a peer mentoring service.Peer mentors provide a valuable connection to student communities and can signpost mentees towards specialist information and services within the college. Mentoring can help students find solutions to problems or challenges, identify goals, and highlight achievements.
Mentoring also provides a space for mentees and mentors to discuss their learning and development, identify goals, and share stories and experiences.
Students in Year 1 are assigned a mentor who is studying in their second or final year.
