Following on from last month’s workshop, this new session will explore in more detail the implications of Pass/Fail assessment for first year students and staff.
Join us to explore and respond to themes such as:
- Retention and attainment
- Assessment literacy
- Supporting transition from Year 1 (pass/fail) to Year 2 (graded)
- Monitoring and support systems for Year 1 students
You can read previous comments on our Padlet and add your own questions, concerns or ideas: https://padlet.com/DecoloniseTheArtsCurriculum/PassFail
We look forward to having the opportunity to share practice and experience with you.
Who should attend?
This session is aimed at UAL colleagues to highlight key considerations regarding assessment in light of the university’s continued pass/fail approach for year one undergraduate students.
Those working with Year 1 and 2 students may find this of particular interest. There is no need to have attended the first session as we will be sharing points that were raised in the previous discussion.
