2022 Staff Sabbatical Leave Scheme
The sabbatical leave scheme is now open for applications under the Research, Knowledge Exchange and Teaching pathways. All 3 pathways now allow staff to take sabbatical leave to undertake activities that support UAL’s strategic objectives.

Research
The Research Sabbatical Leave allows researchers to take paid sabbatical leave to complete research outputs.
Knowledge Exchange
The KE Secondment Scheme enables staff to undertake a secondment in a relevant external organisation in the UK for the purposes of developing new or enhanced KE activity.
Teaching
The Educational Enhancement Sabbatical Scheme allows suitably qualified staff to work intensively on a teaching enhancement project.
