As part of UAL ongoing efforts to improve Moodle, the UAL Digital Learning Support team have begun work to upgrade Moodle to the latest version (4.1) this July. The upgrade will update the look and feel of the dashboard (Moodle’s home page) and enhance the user experience.
The upgrade will slightly alter and improve some other interface aspects within Moodle sites. The LCC Digital Learning team are working behind the scenes with the central team and other colleagues across the university to ensure a smooth transition to this improved version of Moodle. Upgrade will take place the week of 3rd of July (this will include Collaborate Ultra, Blackboard Ally and other Moodle integrated tools.)
Upgrade: 4th of July, Tuesday.
Back up day: 5th July, Wednesday – pencilled in too in case there is any need to follow things up

Will there be training?
The UAL Digital Team in collaboration with Colleges will be offering staff development sessions in July and September to help you navigate the new dashboard. More information on these will be available later this spring.
